My main professional goal is to make things look good. I look forward to finding new, creative ways to get an idea and a product out in front of people. There really isn't much about advertising I haven't worked on — logos, branding, collateral, print, out-of-home, digital, social, television, radio and standing on the corner in a mascot suit — I've done it. I've worked with amazing people, won some big awards, had exhibits of my work, been in a few magazines and have had a ton of fun along the way.
As far as clients go, I've been pretty lucky to work with some amazing people: National Geographic, World Wildlife Fund, DC Lottery, Truth Initiative, SoftSpikes, AOL, Boston Market, Papa John's, ConEd, Vitamins.com, Away.com, NIH, Washington Business Journal and more.
Other random jobs included:
running/hosting creative thinking workshops
taught several studio art and computer graphics classes at VCU
managed a retail custom framing store
did demos for an organic juice company
sold art supplies in San Fran (including an easel to Jerry Garcia)
did paste-ups and typesetting for a local publisher
I fill my non-work life with my family and friends. I'm a painter and printmaker. I love concerts and exhibits. I've traveled around the world in 36 days, play a few musical instruments, coached a women’s college soccer team, collect tacky Elvis paraphernalia, have ridden my bicycle tens of thousands of miles to raise money for charity, have been robbed, cheated, and lied to, and feel like I am a better person because of it all.
